Gas Mixing With Oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason my gas has been getting into my oil. When I went to change it last week, I could smell it strongly. I checked my oil today and it went higher on the stick than what I put in and it had the same gas smell. What does this mean? Is it my head gasket? HELP!!!

Wow, I havent heard of this happening before sounds like it could be a type of gasket.

Any performance loss?

the car drives fine but I have been getting a little bit of a grumble from the engine and I can feel the my foot vibrating a bit when I push the gas. It happens between 2000 and 3500 RPM's

How many miles? Worn rings maybe?

I've seen this before and the outlook usually isn't good.

Although I know nothing about this type of problem, I have seen some recent posts of people reporting the same problem. Unfortunately, the outlook is grim. On the bright side, however, you could probably get away with just buying another engine. I've seen some pretty cheap, low-mileage VQs for sale. Good luck, man - hope everything works out for you!

140K miles on her. If it's the engine I don't mind. I just need guesstimate on how much labor is for it. Everything will most likely be paid for by the person who sold me the car. He would get the engine but split the labor.
