tranny rebuild at 76000 this sucks got a few questions

tranny rebuild at 76000 this sucks got a few questions

so my AT transmission wont shift out of 1st gear, i had a code for the torque converter intermittent or intermediant something like that but now it wont shift at all not even manually so how much is a fair price for a rebuild? and if u have any information about it or what i should do id aprreciate it thanksss

No need for a rebuild just go get a new one from car-parts.com for like 300-400

yeah my tranny wouldnt engage 1st gear and also reverse and that sucked i just got a replacement in and im on the road again no rebuild

Ok, so $300-$400 for the tranny, now how much for an install?

Do it your self it takes about 4-5 hours all u need is some tools a hydrolic jack , 2 jack stands and thats it. but I would say on an average a shop will charge you about 500+ for install every shop is different thou
