what happened to your old name, can't see why you couldn't check the engine codes on your own???

Check your codes

Here are some instructions on how to check your codes and translate them. It may help to figure out why your MIL light came on and possibly why you've lost some acceleration.

You may need to have your throttle cable adjusted (tightened). If you have either the Haynes or Chiltons they show you how. I'm sure Daniel Martin will post details very soon.

Or maybe the spring on your gas pedal is worn out (do you mash the gas very often???)

It should be just a bit loose. Go to http://integra.vtec.net/geeser/mega...0k_service.html

Scroll down to step 8, Tighten throttle cable.
