Can oil overfill cause a blue smoke at start up?
I did an oil change yesterday. This morning a I got a puff of blue smoke at startup. What gives? I've checked the level and the oil is overfilled - but the engine was hot so I need to wait for it to cool down.
Do you think the over fill is causing this? Or should I go with heavier oil next time?

Do not use heavier oil!! It will do more bad than good!

No, I haven't noticed that before. I think they overfilled it by at least half a quart to a quart. The oil level is about an inch above the H mark
