anyone paint their keyhole?
well i debadged today, and gonna tint my tails next weekend but then i realized that im still gonna have a big silver keyhole thats gonna stand out on my trunk. so ive got some gloss black engine enamal and clear coat and i was wondering if i could paint the key hole with that. also if anyone has done this what did you use?

I got my key hole replaced with a camera, but the outer circle rusted and flaked off to silver. I'm getting my outer ring painted, along with the keyholes of the car. Do you have keyless entry? you should consider doing the keyholes of your doors as well

yes i do have keyless entry, but it only works when it wants to. i would think that if i prepped it well and used enough coats, engine enamal is tough enough to work well. i also thought about going ahead and doing the front and passenger doors while im at it but id have to mask that carefully, overspray would suck.

Or just insert a slug, paint it the same colour as your car. Cheaper than body filler or getting it done professionally. Ive never used the key hole, last time i tried it didnt open the door! I guess im ruled by the keyless.
