Can anybody suggest simple performance improvement procedures I can make on my Max? Cold air intake? Change intake manifold? Something else?

 

The general consensus here is CAI and y-pipe for the best performance gains for the buck (besides nitrous).

 

* y-pipe definitely.
* if you polished the intake manifold, it's probably help.
* don't forget the front strut tower brace, made a BIG difference for me in the handling dept.
* there's an ongoing debate about cai or just a jwt/stillen intake being better (i have the jwt and it sounds good, but don't know how much it helps!)
