Ok, here's an interesting noise. When i turn the car on I hear a high pitched noise coming from under the car. I'm thinking it may be the fuel pump. However, when I turn the car to the on position to prime the fuel pump I don't hear the noise. Has anyone had a similar problem, or has had to change the fuel pump? Car is a 95 maxima with 69,000 miles on it.

Any help is appreciated!

 

To add to this, it makes the noise sometimes... not all the time.

 

pull out the fuse and see if it does it.

 

It does it when the car is on... if I pull the fuse for the fuel pump... kinda wont start now

 

Ya, but when that fuse is out, do you still hear that noise??
