Headlight retaining rings....

Good evening boys, does anyone have trouble with these headlight retaining rings? Mine won't go tight. The bulb is a little loose. Am I doing something wrong? You put the bulb in and lock the ring. They won't lock tight though! Please
Thanks

Okay, forget it. Maybe I should have put ANOTHER post up about, " I washed my car today" or another exhaust thread or another suspension thread or some stupid LED interior lights in the door pockets and would have gotten 43 replies. Geez.

ok man its really easy to change a headlight bulb....your bulb definitley shouldnt be loose...you just gotta fiddle with the retaining ring and keep turning it until it clicks when you turn it..and it should be tight after it clicks into place

Changing the bulb is not the problem. That retaining ring only goes so far, but will not tighten snug.

Alright dude, thanks for replying, but I'm a I just went outside to my garage and popped the hood and fcked with them some more. I got them tight, I was pushing the ring too far in and turning it. I pulled them out just a bit toward the firewall and they both snugged up fine. Thanks again for helping out a
Peace
