yea there is a 02 maxima around here with a kit and 19s that delivers my pizza-he has 3 tvs and a sick system -use your imagination on how he gets the extra cash-hint(he drives around all day and makes deals with ppl ) lol
Theres a guy in San Anton with a black 4th gen repping Little Ceaser's pizza. The poor Max looks like it had been in a rollover or a pissed off x took a bat to it cause it is dented in all around and looks nasty. To top it off, he spray painted white paint all over it with "go Spurs go" and "Duncan 21" bs that looks like some kids had tagged his Max.
Whats wrong with delivering Pizzas in a Maxima? geez. I deliver pizzas with my Maxima. I haven't used the sign yet. It looks horrible on the cars. I get compliments from customers all the time on my car. I'm gonna eventually be forced to run the companys sign on top of my car. I'm not looking forward to that day.

You've guys have got to be joking. First I will say I own a 95 maxima, and I'm currently in the market for a manual 97+ .....so I obviously have nothing against the platform......quite the opposite infact. (keep in mind I've owned much more capable platforms including a 500rwhp supra and a 300rwhp mr2) While I like the platform, lets be realistic, the maxima is not prestigious, it's not rare, it's not even a head-turner. To most (READ: not my opinion, not your opinion, not what car enthusiasts think, forget it runs 14.9 stock, we're talking the opinion of the general population, the 95%, the masses......which ultimately is the determining factor for reputation) a used maxima is on the same level as a used Camry or Accord......hence their same similiar resale and place in the automotive market. Nobody here would be in awe of the site of a camry used to deliver pizza, not even a V6 XLE
I like the way the maxima drives, I like it's reliability, I like it's potential, I like the way it handles and I like the pricetag......... but a prestigious car it is not.

So..
Ive seen alot of guys on here deliever in a maxima. These guys have to pay for their bills and make a little extra for modding dont they? Ive done it.
I work with a dude who delievers in a 99 Mercededs Kompressor. Why? Cause if hes going to drive 50-100 miles each day in stop and go traffic, he wants to make a little money and be comfortable. I know alot of guys who use nice cars to make a living you just dont know it cause they dont wear the signs.
Have you tried modding you car and paying all your bills making the average pay? Maybe if you live at home with mommy and daddy.

I am a courier (independent contractor) in my 2003 IS300, I log many miles per day and enjoy every minute of it, as I love my car and find it very comfortable (and fun too).
Hey come on over to Europe....
All taxi's are Mercedes E-class, BMW 5 series, Audi A6, Nissan Max (your Infiniti I35), Volvo 70, Saab 9-5 and a lot of cars that are not on the US market... Why not? If I pay for being driven somewhere I'd rather be driven in a nice car than a beat up Caprice or Crown Vic.....

I delivered pizzas for years when I was in college (in various vehicles, I have owned 11 cars so far!). I am no longer in school, but I work for the University and still deliver pizzas about one day a week to make a little extra money. Of them all, the Maxima is the car I am happiest about using to deliver pizza. It has a leather interior. The other cars had cloth. Cloth absorbs smell so much faster than leather. People assume delivering is hard on a car. Well, the worst part is that dank pizza smell that never leaves your car. I barely notice it in the Max.
I don't have any pizza smell in my car, I just leave the vents on the floor and that seems to take care of it. It really smells if I have air coming out of the vents on the dash. I do have leather seats though, so that probably helps keep some of the smell out. I don't mind delivering with my car, it's really really good money, and helps the work day go by fast too.
There are two pizzal places less than a block from my apartment, and one of the delivery guys has a 95/96 Maxima. It's definetly a beater Max...it doesn't look bad from a distance but up close you can see that the trunk lid doesn't close right and one of the headlights is pushed in a little. Definetly needs some lovin'. Another friend of mine owns a different pizza place, one of his delivery guys has a black 97-99 that's been been through hell and back.
For a while I was considering picking up some extra cash as a pizza delivery guy. However, I wasn't going to put my Max through all that abuse and instead was going to buy a buddy's rusted out '91 Integra 5-spd and beat the crap out of that instead. Unfortunetly for a car worth $400 the insurance was almost $2000 a year, I had a hard time justifying that. I didn't do the pizza job.

1 thing you should never do...find a lost dog on the street (german shepard) thats about 8 months old, put him in your car because you feel sorry for him, drive him home, not get a reward, come back to your car, and realize that the dog shed all over your interior. Your cloth seats smell like dirty dog for 2 weeks (with the windows open while you're driving), and you find dander pieces 1 months later when you go with your friends to the beach. Lesson being, dont be a good Samaritan.
its a Maxima.
its pretty versatile!
Not to mention its almost a 10 year old car, now if you said you saw a kid driving an M5 to deliver pizza, then I’d be like..
I have drive mine to work once a week and I love it.
