Exhaust leak after y-pipe installed

Hey guys, just installed my y-pipe on a couple of days ago and now i realize that there might be a leak at where the muffler connects to the b-pipe. I had the disconnect that part because we had to take the whole setup down to break the bolts of during installation (long story). Anyways, I was just wondering, is there any other gasket besides the O-ring that supposed to be there ? Also, if there is a leak, if i were to take it to a muffler shop, around how much would it cost to seal it or weld it ? Thanks guys !

Yea, I replaced the O-ring gasket already. I'm just afraid that i didn't do a good enough job of tightening/sealing up that section. How much do you think it would cost for a muffler shop to take a look and possibly seal it ?

I highly doubt that they'll fix anything for $20, but its worth a try.

If its just a gasket or a couple loose bolts, they'll charge roughly $20-$30 to repair it.

I just had them check it out. It turns out it is a leak that they can't even fix because it's exactly where the muffler bolts up to the b-pipe. The leak was just from a little hole caused by excessive rust. Looks like it's time for a new cattback system or just deal with the noise. It's not TERRIBLY loud, but it is a bit noticeable. What do you guys think as far as cattback systems go ? Greddy SP2...Apexi..etc ? I know that there are group deals goin on now, but do they come with the b-pipe ?

not true at all. i just had my y-pipe installed and it blew my muffler gasket out where it connects to the b-pipe. they replaced the gasket, rewelded the connections of the muffler to the flange and the pipe, and rewelded a new hanger by the resonator back on for $35.
