i was looking through car-part.com for a MT ecu to use in my '95 and I came across these different types of ECU's for 95-96 MT SE maximas:
Elec Cont Unit (ECU), (under center of dash), thru 5/94, SE, MT, Fed
Elec Cont Unit (ECU), (under center of dash), from 12/94, SE, MT, Fed
Elec Cont Unit (ECU), (under center of dash), thru 10/95, MT, SE
Elec Cont Unit (ECU), (under center of dash), from 11/95, MT, SE

Is there a difference between these ecu's??

i think the first two are 95 models and the last two are 96 models, from what i hear, no difference, but im not sure.

duh, i was just asking if there were any differences between the ecu's, what are you talking about, duh!.

 

I think the difference is in the evap system on the car. The 95 ECU is canister evap equipped oppose to the electrical evap control by the 96 ecu. I might be wrong.
