Left Lights On?

I was wondering how long it typically takes for a Max to die with the engine off and the lights turned on. I left mine on while I went to the store for about 15 minutes, but obviously it was fine. Anyone know the "magic number" of minutes?
With just a regular battery. No yellow tops or anything like that.

like, i'm talking about full headlights, not just the corner/driving lights. no, a dome light doesn't hurt much at all.

Mine will die if I have the radio/cd playing for about 25-30 minutes. Also, I left my dome lights on one night and the next morning my battery was dead.

depends on how strong your battery is.

The battery shouldn't have gone dead in 15 minutes, unless the car hadn't been used much lately. I would get the battery tested to see if it will properly holdl a charge. It could be on its way out.

My battery is pretty new. Just the plain ol' $40 AutoZone piece. I knew I should of gotten the $80 one. I don't have any problems with cold starts.

I left my lights on for around 4 hours at school... i went out to my car at lunch after i realized that i had left them on and turned them off....there wasnt even enough power left to unlock the doors using the remote( i had to unlock the door using the key) and i had to relock the doors by goin around in the car and flipping all the switches on the doors to lock. As for gettin the car to start, it would crank over about once and twice then give up....BUT fortunatly i let the car sit for about another 3 hours until school was over and there was barley enough power built up to start the motor. But after the car was running for about 10 mins, the battery and car were fine .

BTW, one good tip that i have learned about batteries is that if you let them sit for a while they WILL gain back SOME power. and in this case i got lucky and it built enough power back up to start the car

I left the lights on for about 1 –1 1/2 hours once and needed a jump start.

Im not exactly sure how the batteries do that. They just do I guess. But like I said my car didnt even have enough power to unlock it self let alone start the engine, but after the car sat for a few more hours, it had built back enough power to start the engine.

Its weird how the works huh? I also would like to know how the batteries do that

I don't believe that battery could mysteriously gain the power back.

I left my dome light on and it took a few days to run the battery down. But by the time it did, it was completely dead.

I once left my lights on after giving someone a jump( a neighbor). 5 hours later, dome and headlights on i remembered. I left the car for 2 days and it started fine. It all depends on the battery. If you buy crap you get crap. My particular battery was over $100.

Another case of batteries gaining back there power.

But i also believe that it will obviously not gain back a full charge, but only a small fraction of that charge.
