lowering
Guys I just looked at the gap on my ride. From the thread on the tire to the bottom of the chrome piece on the wheel well it's like 4". I haven't installed my b&g springs yet but even with that and new struts would it even make that much difference? they say it lowers like 1.8 in the front and 1.6 in the back. Any suggestions?

You will be able to tell it is lowered but people have different drops, you can look at a coilovered max and then a spring dropped max and see a huge difference. Tein S techs probably have the lowest drop for a spring, so seeing all these maxs on here with Teins won't help you see your drop as being that effective, but it will be noticable, just not as much.

Would it even be worth doin tho? I think the tires might be 205 40 17. I know there the wrong tires but is the drop worth it? I dont want to change the springs and shocks if it aint gonna look better or worht the money to do all the work to.. Thanks for the reply maxgtr2000.

well, i have h&r springs, and the drop is about 1.5 front rear i think. you can definitely tell if your max is dropped, plus, its really about the look if you drop your car, i can't really tell a difference in handling. you can also get coilovers instead, you can drop it from 0-4 in i think, but they are more expensive. if your running on bigger rims like the 17s, it would look a whole lot better with a drop.

Just installed JIC coilovers and they are awesome. GREAT ride and look just as good. Expensive but if you are serious about the ride and you love your car, worth every penny. Check it out.
