Getting rims...

I bought rims and is being shipped to me as we speak. I need to get tires and wondering what sizes are the best for 18"s? I was thinking 225/40/18.. you?

EDIT: Does anyone know how much I should be selling the stock rims and tires. The tires were bought during the winter so it has a lot of thread left. The rims are mostly scratchless, except the previous owner tried to paint the center cap or something so it's black.

with a 7.5" wide wheel a 235/40 would look good, 225/40 is a little on the small side

a 245/40 would be beastly(in a good way) and you might get away with it on a 7.5"

235/40/18 is what I hear are best, no rubbing (depends on your drop also).

do you really htink a 245/35 is gonna fit on a 7.5" rim? manufactur's suggest 8" minimum on a 245/40, so a 245/35 would need an even wider rim. 245/45 will fi easily on a 7.5" wide rim, but might be too big, and will throw the speedo off.

Tirerack.com suggested me to get 235/40-18, so I guess I'll just go with that...
