I believe it's 5%

Meaning 95% light will come in.

95% means 95% of light comes in.

i was 'BOUT TO SAY, 5 percent stock?!?! Mine came with 35 percent i am not quite sure if it was stock but its purple and i hate it. Its also bubbling. Trying to get it changed to black but people are charging 60 bucks to remove tint because of the rear window defroster.

I got mine tested at the inspection station and it came out to 91.xxx%. Who knows what kind of error their tester had so take that with a grain of salt. It will still look clear anyway. 5% less light isn't a huge difference.

If the stock windows have tint it would be built into the glass. It's not a sheet on the glass.

Sounds like a cheap tint job. Cheap paper and bad teqnique. get it off and start fresh with some quality metalized paper (llumar) and start fresh. Purple paper is

All cars have a bit of tint stock, it's to protect from UV rays.

Try looking through your window and then rolling it down. There's a small difference.

Interesting... Do you think its possible the dealer created the option? Because from the previous posts it seems like Nissan did not do tints.

you know there's manufacture option and dealer option right?

it's probably dealer option to have tint.
