FloPro V-force muffler vids

I just bought a new Digital Camara and wanting to test it out. Its a FloPro V-force muffler. Its a generic knock-off of the Flowmaster Delta series mufflers only with less chambers. All I have is a muffler so results may vary if you have a Y-pipe ect...

sounds great now, nice and deep with no rice. unfortunatly if you put on a y pipe (which you should unless you dont care at all about performance) its going to make your car much louder and unfortunatly sound alot worse.

but it sounds great now, and if you ever get a y pipe just make sure you put a resonator on your b pipe or get a new one made with it on and it wont change the sound of it now to much.

i like it. i agree, a y-pipe will ruin most sounds. i had a quiet tone with my greddy sp2, but after getting a y-pipe (warpspeed super-flo), it is very loud

Thanks guys! I like the sound also, although I was skeptic of purchasing it at first because I don't recall anyone having this muffler before. Its stock quiet at cruise and it hums quietly on the highway so you know its there. Best of all, there is no drone with this basically stock set-up. I just sold my Y-pipe due to one reason, I don't enjoy the sound the Y-pipe makes with a muffler. I think I'll wait for Cattman-headers, those sound similar to the stock manifold/downpipe (equal-length) but has sound all the way up the tach scale.

do mufflers really sound all that bad with y-pipes? I have a budget y and want something with a little growl, louder than stock. will this muffler just be loud, or will it be obnoxious? I don't want it to be too loud, I'd rather have it be really throaty. what works? oh, also, i will soon have a budget resonated b-pipe.

Wow. My maxima sounds very similar to that one. I have a flowmaster Delta Flow. I have a y-pipe with mine and it's slightly louder than yours. I also have a resonator on my b-pipe. That helped quiet it down a lot.

if your thinking of getting the cattman headers in the future then definitly wait to get those instead of buying a cheaper y pipe then just having to replace it in the future. i think everyone would get headers if they werent so expensive, the y pipe is just a much cheaper alternative. even though with a y pipe your exhaust might not sound as good, the pros still outweigh the cons when you compare sound to price you paid and performance you got. but like i said if your willing to pay for the cattman then by all means save up and get those. people will drool over the sound of your exhaust after that.

I purchased it from a local muffler shop. Mine was slightly under $75 installed. The muffler is about $50 for the V3 model which is a 2 1/4inch side inlet/center outlet.
