Need some help with wheels colors
Im gettin some 18" gloss black wheels in the next couple days from another .orger. Was thinking that it might be too much black cause i got a 99 Black SE. They are a 5 spoke design with a lip. Think I should keep them the gloss black, paint them gunmetal, or paint them bronze (gold)? I'm dropped on tein-stechs so theres gonna be no 4x4'ing. And if anyone has pictures of some pictures of all gunmetal or gold wheels on a black 4th gen that would be cool.

yeah i love the polished lip but these dont got em and thats why i think it might be too much black. dont really know though cause i havent seen any black maxes with all black wheels
Black on black is definately sweet.
Althought the black/gunmetal them is really played out, black on black will always hold its own.
Bronze on black is alo really nice.
If it was me, it would be between those two, leaning more towards the black on black with black tinted bumper lenses and black tinited DTM tails with the AE headlights.

haha hey flavor that picture you posted is actually my wallpaper on my comp. love that car. but those wheels got the polished lip and i love that but the ones im gettin are all black with no polished lip. I'll probably just keep them black at first and then if i get sick of it i'll paint them bronze. How easy is it to smoke the front signals and the rear tail lamps. I got red and clears and dont want to mess them up. Where can I buy the spray on tint stuff at?

I'm right there with you, nothing looks better on a Black Max, I've yet to see a pic that looks better.

^^^ yeah man if you could snap some pics of the car that would be awesome. And Euromaxima, how did you get the front face part of the wheels machined? that looks hot. you think some sand paper and hard scrubbing would get down to that bare metal and then just clear it? thanks for everyones opinions too.

and i bought the wheels like that, but i assume if you had black wheels you could sand down the face to metal and then polish it.

You have such a clean car, that emblem just takes away from it.
But to each their own.
black with bronze looks sick. i mean the black on black looks nice, but i would like to break up all the black, and the bronze flows nicely. it all depends on what you want to look at for how ever long you have yor car.
