ECU Error 0302

Okay so the web resource says its a "EGR System Hi/Low Flow." Yes, I know after 200k+ miles, and hole in my muffler, that its time for a new one. Would this be damaging the Cat Converter and or would a new exhaust setup replace this anyways?
I am still researching best way to get new exhaust setup. I was either going to go local, or get one of the brand names like Greddy SP2 or Pacesetter. If you have these for your car, please post your experience with them. Pacesetter is really priced well. I think I can get local installed for around $340ish.

340 is too much JUST for installation. It won't damage your cat if the hole is in the rear muffler section. I would personally get just a b-pipe and a 2k muffler. Besides, all the muffler really adds is sound.

I meant $340.00 as in parts and labor. If all I need is a b-pipe and new muffler that would be great then. I'll keep lookin. I think getting a 2k2 muffler with dual tiny tips is kinda funny lookin, but if I can get it for a good deal I will buy it.

My buddy mentioned that the Exhaust Gas Reciculator may be damaged?

If your EGR did get amaged your ECU will throw a code. Yes, funny looking with dual tips when the cutout is made for one. I have a custom cat-back, cost 216 w/muffler and install.
