Last night video and advice. PR CAI and Budget SS

I came back yesterday night late and i found myself in a nice straight stretch of a road and pulled my camera to "TRY" to take a video of the sound of the PR CAI sound and Budget Sound. This is what it came out...

Happy Iam not but how do you guys manage to video something without the wind creating all that distortion?. Where do you put the camera? I was thinking on tape it to the space between the steering wheel and the gauges to film the gauges and avoid the wind effect?

Anyhow i wanted to share it but please take into consideration this is a digital still camera that take like little videos.

Just Budget Y-pipe, B-pipe not yet for obviou$ rea$on$, but i'll eventually upgrade... iam sticking to the OEM muffler tho.

edit: what i love about the set up is that you can only hear it when you floor it... means in your normal 2K-3K driving you keep the familiy sedan look....but.... hehe ...watch out!!! lol

I put the camera between the headrest and the top of the passanger seat. Push the headrest down and go. All those that film with one hand and drive with the other, you're idiots.

Damn Dave, you've been pissy lately. What's up aside from the idiots in the forum?

renatonetmail, he did say to put it in the passenger seat headrest? I know sometimes we forget how to read.

I think I might have brain damage from sniffing exhaust fumes and burnt rubber. Besides that everything's the same. Oh and I dropped some tools ONTO my left eye.

I didnt quite get the "passenger" word... my bad.

to Dave:
I drive with my left hand on the steering wheel and i hold the camera with that same hand too... YES I HAVE 10 fingers on my left hand moron ... lol... is a small digital camera...why do you think is such a bad video?.

What i do next time is turn the lights on inside the car cuz you can't see shi*t in the video, although i did it for the sound of it, but i guess camera has a crappy microphone.

I got one of those too, small palm size Sanyo dv cam. I can old it and steer with the same hand, leaving the other hand for shifting. I will try Dave's suggestions next time. Also, next time, try video taping with your windows closed. That will do wonders with eliminating the wind noise. You should still hear the exhaust and intake noise inside the car.

Might be less noisy once i put the Weathertech transparent side windows deflectors since that reduces a lot the wind noise

keep the camera away from the windows if they are down, the moment you put the camcorder out the window the sound quality is gone, if you must put the camcorder out the window, buy a mic to plug in it, hang the camcorder out the window, and tape the mic somewhere inside the car, or better yet to your air filter, ROFL !

Unless the max being video taped is stock but why video tape a stock max? Anyone tried the cherry bomb glass pack muffler on their max?

rpm goes up when you shift and then drops....like your giving it gas and clutching it at the same time. rpm should drop and then go up, not drop go up, drop and then go in gear....sorry im just **** about that kinda thing...bothers me to see people shift and strain theior clutch more than they should....unless thats just your clutch slipping.
