Bottom line you spun the tires as soon as it got traction comp saw your speed and abnormally shifted it's normal for Auto's to do this. You must have really spun those tires bad what were the conditions like I had your same setup with sawblades and I only spun my tires for maybe a few secs and that was on sandy loose roads as soon as it got traction it went all the way to 2nd smoothly.. So that's why I ask

Whether he loses traction or not really isn't all the important. I see three things in this video
1. The CEL light, which to me means that you shouldn't push the car hard until you get that fixed, which should be asap.
2. The tachometer needle isn't rising as fast as the sound of the engine. It's rubbing the indiglos from roughly 5000 rpms up, as that's where the biggest tachometer lag is. I've worked with this problem before on my brother's Integra, when I installed indiglo gauges for him. This shouldn't be too hard to fix, but you need to get into that dash and take care of it.
3. This guy doesn't know how to drive an automatic (probably doesn't know how to drive a stick, either). It's guy like this that blow up our relatively indestructable Nissan trannys. Oh well, it's his problem, not mine.

My guess is that the speed input sensor (TPS?) is not working properly. Any miscalculation of this sensor will have an adverse affect on both the transmission and possibly the speedo. The sensor should (?) show up under the codes I would guess.

Good luck.

Be sure that I know how to drive stick. I know it better than you. I drove stick for over 5 years.
Reason why I get auto is that I didnt have time to find stick
