My MAX.. Finally worth showing.. :) ..I hope.. (UPDATED PIX!! PAGE 3!)

EDIT (4/28): PAGE 3 PICTURES YOU ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.. LOL.

Alright.. so I don't have a digital camera cause I hate taking pictures..
But I took a picture yesterday going to Atlantic City at a rest stop with my phone. I'm gonna see my girl later this afternoon and I'll make her take some better pictures to share with you Orgers. And also, thanks for everyone's patience with me through all my stupid newb questions (since February), so I can make my stock max to this...

The only thing is the car is too low already to drop it... FYI never get skyline body kit!!

List of things done... (past 2 months)
R33 Skyline body kit, APEXi exhaust, K&N short ram intake, 18" MOTEG/NITTO rims/tires, strut bar, leather interior, various other mods (tails, lights, nismo parts, etc..), and other crap I can't remember...

Comming... (next 2 months)
Brembo drilled/slotted rotors, VIS CF hood, CF trunk, CF spoiler, Tint.
.... and a MOJOR TUNE UP!!

Next year...
3.5 swap/turbo..

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP!

-STEVE-

looks good man, love those wheels? if you dont mind me asking, where did you get them and how much did you pay? a drop would really help but I can see what you mean with the front looking like its only a few inches from the ground already. Maybe just a mild drop with some H&R's?

www.elementmotorsport.com they are really nice and great people.. I have their number if you want.. actually they might have the phone number listed on their website.

With the body kit, I'll probably get sick of it after this year then I'll sell it and get stillen like everyone else.. or maybe not. I think I can afford maybe a inch and that would mean that I would have to 1) stop going to NY 2) anything that resembles a slight incline/decline, I can't go through 3) garage my car for the rest of "its" life.

Try asking your girl instead of "making her".

Looks good. You need to lower it, kill the stickers on the door and kill the sunroof wind thingy. Otherwise, looks good.

Nice altezzas. Apexi exhaust? WS? Authentic Apexi or one of those ebay N1 style mufflers? Full exhaust or just the muffler? Lame body kit + ok rims - drop =

Altezzas? why??? and those wheels look tiny with that huge gap. Uncle Ben would be proud.

Those stickers are for civics from the mid 90's.

I was wondering how much horsepower you gained from those stickers? I am looking for a way to get some good power.

I like the rims. Not sure why people say they're tiny--if you've got 235/40-18 the diameter is the same as 215-55-16. Maybe it's an illusion that the wheel gap is different than stock, not sure what those folks mean. As I said, I like the rims.

Almost got into a fight in your neck of the woods though, came off the Palisades today and got into it with some rent-a-cop who was driving in Ft. Lee. I guess I still don't back down with the road rage, I should have learned by now. But he started it.......

Sory to bring this message but mods do not make cars worth anymore. It's just for our personal satisfaction. Keep modding!

Looking good. Nice Stance and aggressive Look.. Amazing that in only 3 months you've pretty much set the tone and look for the car.

I agree with others that the wheels look a bit small, It might just be the photos we'll be able to tell better when your girl takes more photos like you said.

Sadly you might want to keep the cars height where it is, if Jersey streets are like what I've been hearing about, plus you have a kit on and I'm sure you dont want it to get torn off.

Keep it up.

haha he can't lower it b/c of the huge, heavy bodykit he has on. other than that, looks aiight.

get bigger wheels, like 20s .then maybe you can lower it then
u newb, 20s is too much, its doable but you'll get horrible ride quality and speed and won't look as good u silly newb

Hello all... thanks for the positive and negative comments and all points are well taken. The wheels are not small at all (235/40/18) I think it's just the pictures. My girl took some pictures today but yet to give me any by email.. maybe tomarrow.

Here are my opinions on all the positve/negative comments.. (not specifically pointing out anyone)

1) No I can't drop it cause there's no way I'd be able to normally drive that thing around. Maybe after a bodykit switch.
2) yea yea yea the "did you gain 15hp+ more with those stickers" comments has to go. Some people, like me, like those stickers, as long as it's not over done I think it looks decent.
3) No it's not ebay 10 dollar muffler. Why would I spend over $1500 installing body kit and about $2000 on wheels and use a $10 exhaust... C'mon think people... I'm one of those people that likes to get things right the first time with the right parts. I had a APEX exhaust shipped to me from japan for my Acura 3.2TL.. then when I sold it, I took them off and I was left with 2 good Apexi catback system. I took one of them and made it fit my maxima.
4) The body kit is not heavy. In fact, MUCH lighter than the stock bumpers to be exact. They are just bigger, in height.
5) Yes, it is altezza, but, I'm waiting to get those painted black. (Leaving the 2 circles on each side and matching the body) I think it'll look hot.
6) Yes, I've done all this since February and yes, this is one expansive hobby and a lot more to do to this never ending modding...
7) No, I'll never spend 300-500 bucks on a camera when I can spend that on my car..
8) YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP.. LOL THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS! and let's not get too heated up on other people comments.. but thanks for the back-ups! it's just the internet, the way i see it..
.............. time for me to go to sleep and work tomarrow so i can make more money for my maxipad

good loooking car from what i can tell. im not a fan of altezzas, but if youre changing them, then thats ok. DTMs look good on black cars, you could try that out if your plan fails. I like the rims, but i wouldnt get black rims for my car. I dunno, im weird. Not a fan of that body kit, but to each his own. I dont mind stickers, its your car, do what you want. Keep up the modding.

Makes me sad that I've been modding my car since 02 and I'm not even close to having the things you have done. Oh well, College drains my money/soul.

because its goes against the strick rules of modding a Maxima. It violates code 42 section 4. its right after the section that says you have to get red/clears, stillen kit, and illuminas.

i dont necessarily say you need the same thing as me. i just hate how the altezzas look for a maxima. they are OK for other cars, just not ours. Thats all. I like my DTMs, but also like red/clears. Altezzas are a personal preference.

Quick Reply: My MAX.. Finally worth showing.. :) ..I hope..
