alright guys, ive got a wierd problem
here it goes, when i start my car, it jumps up to about 1200 rpm and as the car temp increases the idling speed decreases...and once the car is at normal temp, the idle speed goes to normal...but then when i hit the climate control button.. it jumps up again.. but comes down to a bit over normal idle...and it has thrown a code, yet i havent took it in to get checked yet

anyone know wats wrong???

 

I have the same problem with my '95, the code its throwing is P0505 (OBD2) and its the idle air control valve....i'm gonna try cleaning it and see what happens.

 

Your car knows whats wrong. Pull the code, then maybe we can help you fix it.

 

same problem with my 98..i cleaned out the throttle body and it got a little better..whats an idle air control valve?..

 

something that costs around 210$ lol. just ordered one from ABC nissan for 137$ (employee discount), google it, will tell you all about it. But I tested the resistance and 2 leads were completely dead I also gotta replace the EGR solenoid and knock sensor I just love wasting money lol
