alignment problem
my alignment recently got messed up and started throwing the car to the right. faster i drive, the more "pull" it has. i literally have to hold the wheel 5 degrees to the left on the highway. i got 4 wheel alignment done and it fixed the "TOE" angle, which barely helped and my car is now back to its old state. looking at the alignment chart it said my SAI is really fuked up. but i have no idea what thats supose to mean and i dont feel like taking it to the stealership.
Tie rod, bent strut, bent control arm, a dead ball joint or control arm bushings. Could be either one of these or a combonation of these items. Have you hit any big potholes lately, a curb ... etc. Inspect the suspension for any obvious bent parts etc
I got the same problem man, i took it to 3 shops and all of them ended up to be retards. No one could tell me the exact problem. I am going to the stealership on wednesday, I heard there's a dude there who knows what he's doing. I'll keep ya updated if you want..
good luck

all my alighments were significantly higher. the front/right's SAI and inc. angle were 5 degrees high, the left were 1.5-2 degrees high
when i bought the car it came with a strut bar if that would make a difference, and no i dont remember hitting any big potholes or curbs.

you need to post your specs, and talk to njmaxseltd.. most likely he will be able to tell you what the problem is.
as he has explained to me, cause i have alignment probelms myself, toe really doesnt create a pull, its either camber, or caster. although there really is no adjustment for either on our cars, the camber can be pulled slightly, by about a degree or so either way by playing with the lower strut bolts.. the caster can be manipulated by shifting the subframe over slightly, which is what i still need to schedule to have done.. on my car, everything lines up well within spec, and i still have a pull to the left on the highway.. it could be a a few things causing it, a slightly bent suspension part, your tires.. also like me, your not the original owner of the car, so you dont know it theres any history of accidents or anything like that.
best thing to start off with, is going back to where you got the aligment done, and tell them whats going on. post your specs from the last alignment you had, and im sure you'll get some insight on here from those. Tom (njmaxseltd), usually finds his way onto threads like these, but if he doesnt try shooting him a pm.. hes the guy you wanna ask..
like i said, i still need to have things done to correct my own aligment, but i have other issues with the car now that i need to try and reslove first. so if anything, i hope you get some comfort in knowing your not alone in this.. haha

broken belt in tires or defective tire can cause a really bad pull. swap the left front and right front tires and see if the pull moves to the other side. if it stays the same post all your specs and i will tell you whats wrong.

specs??
where do you obtain these specs?? I need an alignment and am thinking of going to FIRESTONE where i can purchase a lifetime alignment for 149.00$
QUICK QUESTION, Im getting a click/tock sound from my front left tire(drivers side) when i come to a complete stop, when i start going up my driveway, and sometimes when i turn? Any ideas as to what this might be?

they didnt print the whole spec sheet? you got ripped off...probaly got a bad camber problem since caster isnt adjustable on our cars.

Do you still have a pull to the right?
I'm getting very good with camber & toe but just started learning about SAI and the other meas.

Your camber is .4 diff and SAI/incl is 2.6 to 3.0 diff. The L/R suspension components are way diff but the wheels are compensating for it. Strut knuckle bolts maybe?

SAI changes on a lowered setup. The strut angle becomes more pronounced because your no longer at the stock ride height.
If you pull the left camber back just a touch more positive, or match the right camber to the left or even go .1 degree more negative on the right then the left, your slight right pull should stop.
