Poor Customer Service

A few weeks ago, I posted concerns about my loss of oil pressure twice on my 97 GLE with all SE options. I tried to present my concerns to Nissan and followed the thread for possible causes. Nissan was glad to talk to me and then informed me.....tough.
Customer Service at Nissan National told me the car, according to Gordon's Nissan in Mt. Vernon Washington, exhibited signs of customer abuse. This is because of the sludge and clogging of the oil pickup. In fact the rep says I came in for a water pump problem and the dealer discovered the rest.
I do my own work. I am religious about taking care of the car and using quality parts. But, since I do not take it to a dealer or have receipts for the work they tell me it is my problem.
So be careful. Write everything down and keep every receipt. Just trying to do good work will not help you in the eyes of Nissan. Don't trust a dealer.
I love my car. I will try to keep it running well, but mechanics tell me the two losses of oil pressure have put another 50,000 miles of wear on my engine.
Good luck to all. Thanks for reading.
