Alfonso, I say it would be a "no no" on big drops (such as how most people would do it on coilovers) unless you live in an area without speed bumps... I don't have much problems now with my Tein H springs but did hit speed bumps with my old Intrax..

I dunno man...i have the stage 2 tie bar and i hit speed bumps regularly with it. and they arent little scrapes theyre solid hits...i would imagine the sfcs would hit the same way on speed bumps or any raise in the surface...esp if youre cars gonna be dumped..

I have stage 1 + 2 sfc's and sprint / agx's...

it definitely scrapes at times. Big speedbumps I have to go over angled a little bit, as with pretty steep slanted driveways. Still worth it though..

I just ordered stage 1 about a week ago for $125 + shipping. Dallas told me they would go out this week, but I haven't seen my card charged yet. Oh well, I'm not in a big hurry, I've already waited since August. I'm sure I'll enjoy them. I'll see how they do with my H&Rs.

i dont see how they will hang any lower than the side skirts. Do they hang that low? My s pipe (and resonator) hangs super low and I have only scraped it on narrow but relitivly tall speed bumps.

they hang a couple inches lower than the stock side. if you have a stillen kit, they will still hang a tiny bit lower. I don't have a stillen kit, so I can't give pics, but I remember seeing pics of a kitted car with sfc's and you could see the very bottom edge of them. On mine without a kit you can see the entire pipe and a little space above it from some angles.

I would get them. Even if htey do scrape, the ride it gives is worth it from what I have read.

He didn't give me a shipping quote for just stage 1, so I'm not sure.

definitely worth the slight hassle of scraping sometimes.. and even that is more due to the crappy sprints than the sfc's..

Heh, nine months here. I even went off on a tangent from modding my car and bought a motorcycle, because sfcs were the only thing I wanted to do to my car at the time and I couldn't get them!

well im on eibach springs, and hardly scrape. But with passengers i do get some scraping over tall speed bumps. I know this issue is going to become more apperent with coilovers.

what pisses me off about warpspeed is that, they know they're not doing anything at all to work on these, so why the f-ck do you keep tellin people they'll be ready in a week, and make me waste my time calling. tell me a month, 3 months.... dont have me calling there every week like a moron. all that does is **** me off, and make your own compnay look bad. especially when your tellin people " yea you can order them today, give me your credit card info and they should ship out in about a week", and then a month later your tellin me the same f-ckin story again..

I had them on my old car lowered 2.75" front and 3.0" in the rear, stage 1 and 2. Yes they would scrape. No it wasn't a problem besides the noise. They actually do a very good job of protecting your exhaust so you don't rip your exhaust off when going over speedbumps in a very low car. I'd rather scrape the super-tough SFCs than rip up the flanges of a nice aftermarket exhaust or test pipe or ypipe.

When I say yes they scrape, it was primarily over speedbumps or at the tops of very steep driveways of course.

I paid alot because I was in a hurry, I had a race the next day and needed them done. A guy at a shop I knew stayed after for a few hours to do it. I paid $250 to install stage 1 and 2.

I think I paid 180 to have stage 1 & 2 put on.. it was around that. bring printed instructions to the place you have put them on, otherwise they might look at you like you have two heads..

Wow thats realy low. How did you manage that? I'd love to get the center of gravity down there. Of course I have to ask (since I have been reading the org for awhile now...did you run into any problems with the drivetrain because you were so low? (I remember a post that said that its a possibility)

Thanks sensei

No I didn't have any problems being that low. I was just using ground control coilovers. Only problem was extreme front camber which caused quick tire wear, and not very much suspension travel, but that was somewhat compensated for by having very stiff springs that didn't really move much anyways.

I scrape sometimes with my stage I+II SFCs on H&Rs, but it's not a big deal. I plan on going lower sometime soon, but I'm not that worried about it. I don't think I paid more than $100 to get mine installed.
