Interesting Brake info

I just got my EBC Greenstuff pads in the mail. I noticed something interestng on the box. Apparently these pads (part number DP2775, incidently) are used for several Nissan vehicles:
Infiniti I30 and G20 (99 and up)
Maxima (89 thru 2001)
Sentra (2000 to present)
350z (2002) (non brembo)

Maybe this will help some people cross shop brake pads that may not be listed specifically for the Maxima

My EBC Greenstuffs did not come with the holes on the back of the brake pad for the anti rattle clips. I had to drill holes in mine.. Make sure you didnt get that also.

Nissan doesn't include the clips with their brake hardware kits anymore. I guess they don't think they are needed. I'll be sure and drill my pads though, since I have the old clips.

You have to buy the hardware kits seperately. All the brands we have at the used car lot I work at are the same. I think some afermarket pads aren't meant to have them though.

I put mine on w/out the rattle clips and I was squealing quite a bit.. Now that I drilled the holes, I dont have the squealing anymore. On another note; these Greenstuffs are really nice, bite pretty hard with minimal dust. Good pad IMO.

I've never understood these shims and clips you guys talk about all the time. I use nothing but the pad and I never have any squealing worth complaining about. Maybe I'm just lucky.

There were 350zs in 2002? I'm looking at the SATISFIED website and they show different numbers for the max and the cars mentioned above. In some cases the rears are the same but not always.
