front struts help!!!

Yesterday I had two front struts replaced on my car. After the struts were installed the car seems to be bouncing all over the place when driving on the road. When I hit little bumps on the road you can really feel it a lot more than what it should feel like. Does anyone have a clue as to what the problem could be? Did the mechanic not have the springs compressed enough? It seems like the car is a little high in th front, but since I am not a mechanic I am not really sure what it is. Please help me figure this one out before I go back to the shop!

Which struts did your mechanic install in your car?

EDIT: My guess is he put a set of KYB's in your car and your not used to the very hard ride they give.

if they are stock replacements i had the same thing happen, they WILL soften up give them about 3 weeks and your ride will be better than before.

How are your rear ones? Check and see if the fronts are seated properly, or just wait it out for a week or two and then go complain (or call them up right now and ask them why it's happening)

Thanks everyone for the help. When you say seated properly what does that exactly mean? I am a little slow when it comes to this . I bought the struts from autozone (that could be the reason alone) @$80 a piece. I was told the rear ones were fine.

Make sure the spring lines up:

You dont have to take the wheel off, either turn the wheel all the way to the right and check with a flashlight or just jack up the front a little and it'll be easier to see
