Ignition amplifier

I havnt seen any ignition amplifier gizmos on Max !? Is it a good investment? Anybody tried that stuff?

I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) that Ignition amplifiers are meant for cars with a distributor, since the Max has coil packs on each of the plugs, amplifiers don't work on them.

HKS has a kit that reatils for around 475, but tests prove it to be a prett much useless mod, meaning no gain whatsoever.
