Lowering Maxima, anything else needed??
Ok guys all the parts to drop the Maxima are ordered. I got Tokico Illuminas and Tein S Techs shipped for $540. Should look nice with the Murano's I picked up.
Quick question. Is there anything else I should look at replacing while the car is apart, that usually gets done during lowering on these cars? Anything to check now that could be worn so I can have it fr when I got the car tore apart?
Thanks,
J

Other than the obvious stuff, like the strut mounts and whatnot - it is a pretty straightforward install - so there really isn't anything you can do that you couldn't do without the wheels off. Maybe your CV joints - as you'd be pretty much there for replacing those.
Good time to install SS brake lines or any kind of brake stuff since you'll be in there.
BTW, getting the front spring/strut assbly out is much easier if you don't have the fender, bumper, fender lining, or hood on the car...

You have any of the top mounts stocked? That doesn't change ride height at all does it?
Should I change the front strut mount as well? If so anyone got a part #? Wheres the cheapest place online to get OEM Nissan parts?
Also, I pieced the setup together via Adventon, Parts Peddler, and Ebay.
