hacked air box. cheap. sound. you get what you want. unless what you want is 2 hp.

Don't hack the airbox. Take the resonator box thats down under the battery try out. Then drill holes in the back side that faces the inner fender, make swiss cheese out of it. Put it back in the car and drop a K&N filter in. You really can't hear much more intake growl over the stock setup, but the throttle response is awsome and the added ability for the stock system to breath better up top allows the car to pull nicely up over 6,000 RPMs. The restriction on our stock intake is at the snorkle. The elbow just after it that goes to a closed resonator box can be used as another source of air allowing the stock intake to breath very nicely with a good filter installed.

Both. Haven't done the OSCAI yet, but I am happy with my hacked airbox. I will be doing the OSCAI soon.

I've been here for over 2 years and still don't know what an OSCAI is.
