the car doesn't want to turn over. It just sits there trying to start, and I have to give it gas to get started. I replaced the starter, because it wen bad and I was hoping that it would take care of this problem as well. No luck.
Dirty fuel filter?
Thoughts?

I had the same issue where my car was running 1 or 2 hours prior in warm weather and wouldn't start. It would crank but it wouldn't turn over. If I let the car sit for a hour longer it would start perfectly fine. I replaced the fuel filter with no luck, but it turns out it was the camshaft position sensor.

No, once it is started it is fine. Until I turn it off again, then I go through the same process again. It's pretty embarassing.
Thanks for the replies guys, I'll look into the sensors.
