I got my resonator taken out about 6 months ago and i had them weld a piece of pipe there. I looked at the pipe and it looke like 2.5 but the rest of the catback to the muffler is 2.25 is that piece cause any problem my car is driving weird like rpm dropping could that be it?

 

No thats not it, if it was a problem it would have shown itself after you drove away.
