Question For People W/ Push Button Start
When I bought this car it had a push button ignition starter in place of the cigarette lighter. However, if I let the car sit for more than 5 hours I have to press the button at least 2-3 times before it starts. If I drove the car for a lil while and wait about 2 hours and try to start it, it'll start right up. Anybody have this problem or could it possibly be either the starter, battery, or alternator?

when you push the button and hold it does that help? or do you just press it and it just starts?
I have a remote start and by default it's setup for .75 sec start time and ignores the tach signal. Eventually during the colder months I had to reprogram it so it would read the tach signal and extend the cranking time so it would start on the first try.

You have to press and hold the button. When you first try to start it after it has been sitting for a while, you have to press the gad pedal a little bit while holding the button and it will start. Think it could be the switch itself or something different?
