dang young bucks and their lowered maximas , I rather drive my stock ,floaty SE on the expressway at 85-95 mph , than any lowered maxima even on stock wheels,
I can't even imagine driving on 18" rims
stock car is much more stable on bad and bumpy road , driving lowered car at high rate of speed in plain scary.
my point is: lowered maxima look good, but when it comes to real world ride on bad roads , no lowered maxima can catch it
unless the dfriver of lowered one is suicidal.
Let the flaming begin !!!!!

I once added like 560lbs of preload to my 450lb rate springs. That combined with undervalved struts caused the car to buck and myself backpain for 2-3 days. That said both me and my wife like it hard.

I feel much more confident at high speeds with my lowered setup than my stock setup. You definately feel the bumps and potholes more, but I've driven much faster than 85-95 on both stock and lowered suspension and I definately feel more secure and in control when lowered. On bad roads I slow down, but not because I'm scared, it's because the ride is harsh and I don't want to bend one of my rims.

I just spent the day on the highway on all 5's on my illumina/HR combo. It was the most amazing ride I ever had. I can't believe I have had them on the car for almost a month and never did all 5's. The braking and cornering feeling was amazing- No dive at all. But, I changed it back to 3 and 3. I am SO happy I went with adjustables- The only way to go!
