i went to change my bulb yesterday and found out that the bracket is rusted realy bad,and the screws for the lights were rusted too. anyone else have this problem? im looking to get a machine shop to make me another one in stainless steel so they would not rust again. the stealership wants 30 bucks for this bracket.and im gonna dremel out the rusted screws to reuse the lights.

 

anyone know a cheaper way to fix this? the machine shop is chargin me 20 bucks to make the bracket,thanks

 

the same thing happened to me too. The bracket was rusted but was still usable. So, I cleaned the bracket up and replaced all the hardware with stainless steel. I say if this is the case for you, I would reuse the bracket. But, if you want a new one, $20 from the machine shop is a decent price in my mind.
