thanks man, did a search on the rack and it appears they are out of the ssr comp in 16 , they do have the 17 inch wheel at 389 each, ouch ! you could always email luke at Luke@tirerack.com and see if they are getting more ?

i priced some Volk te37's here yesterday in a 17 inch wheel and they are a whopping 5,350 dollars NZ >>> Ceasar Mr. Ray

edit:
i paid around 1050 for these , tirerack had a special

Heck no. They don't look bad but SSR Comps look way better, not to mention are lighter, better wheel brand, and the list goes on. If you are going to replace the SSRs you don't downgrade, and these would be a downgrade in my opinion.

The momos fit the car better. You could always keep your old wheels for track use if you're worried about weight

thats some good advice, just looking for another set, unlikely i will ever part with the ssr comps. the weight difference between the two wheels are crazy, you can toss the 16 inch ssr 40 yards but the momo wheel is much like pushing a maxima in neutral, lol !

yeah im keeping the ssr's, the roads here are rough and rip into your tires, with very few miles my toyos are getting eaten alive. so im looking into a set of rims and all season tires for cruising on, and using the ssr comps and the hoosier drag radials on the front to combat the poor traction im seeing at the drag strips here.

thanks for the posts, it really has helped my gain a better prospective on what i want to do.

I love the style, but if they were a darker finish it would look orgasmic on your car.

Is there a possibility of them in 18"?, they would look soooo much better, anyone who can drive never considers curb rash, and the difference between the old and new as fas as extending out ( in the pics anyway) doesn't even seem to be a consideration. Momo's are excellent quality and usually much higher in cost than most rims, so if there's no 18's at that price you could do a lot worse!

They're 1/2 decent. I just hate wheels with rivets, they just add to the busy-ness of the wheel.

Hey dude go with the momo's they are so nice. They really set your car off. I like them so much I would almost think about getting them if I wasnt trying to get some volk te37's but they are very nice, and I would go with them if I were you.
