JWT popcharger fit weapon r intake?

I recently installed the weapon r intake on my 96 maxima. I was wondering if their filter can be replaced with the JWT popcharger.
I email JWT with no response and I was wondering first if it would fit and second if there are added benefits over weapon r's filter.

how big is the end of the filter where it attaches to the MAF adapter?

This is a POPcharger, the base is about 9" IIRC

This is a standard 3" cone filter

i used to have K&N filter on my bomz intake. but now it's replaced by JWT.

JWT comes with their own specific intake adapter, which will fit perfectly on stock MAF. as long ur JWT filter comes with their intake adapter it should fit without any problem.

its just a filter with a large opening that connects to a velocity stack

Okay, another question then. If I have a Place Racing style cold air intake on my maxima, how would the popcharger fit? I mean, the Air Intake Temperature sensor is mounted to the top of the popcharger right? Would it have to be customized then?

If you can make an adapter to fit the end of the PRCAI intake tube as well as the opening for the POP charger, then you're all set.

The resonance chamber aids in P/T responsiveness and is much quieter.

yea the nissan engineers did their homework when designing the intake....its called a helmholtz resonator...(spelling) it actually is better than a weapon r and various other short ram and some CAI intakes....i had the weapon r it sucked....i put stock intake piping back on with cone filter and low end power and throttle response to me felt much better

I like the sound of the weapon r maxima se 96, I have noticed a huge gain in top end power. Will the JWT fit because my current filter is near the edge of the fender already and if this thing is much bigger my hood may not close. Has anyone done this mod with aftermarket intake piping

is there a difference between the JWT and the Stillen intake? They look the same and both use the venturi effect.

I tried it with my dads infiniti Q45 JWT pop charger, altho the adapter to the maf sensor isnt the same size, I was able to get it on and try it out. I didnt have any problems with the hood closing. I aslo have the weapon R intake piping. I think that JWT sounds much better than the weapon R

Um......no. Studies have proven that intake whether cold air or hot hardly put out ant power much less top end. Intakes are mainly a sound issue not performance. If you want performance get a y-pipe.
