Driving my 95 the other day and got pissed at the annoying dash rattle that's been going on for the past couple months...so I hit the dash lightly with my palm right next to the driver's side side vent...and the headlights go out!

This wasn't good because I was doing 90 on I95 at about 11pm...so I drove home with my blinkers on, very carefully. Anyway, I changed the bulbs and the two #15 fuses, but no luck. The corner lights and highbeams work fine, but the lowbeams just wont come on.

If anyone has any ideas on what might be the problem I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks,

Sorry bad joke, but that sounds very very odd; just free bump here.

Hope someone might know.

 

maybe something got loose when u hit it...but i dont know what it can be underneath the dash.....if i were you i wud take the dash off and try to figure it out from there
