I just got the ECU code 10-5 which corresponds to the EGRC Solenoid valve.
How can I fix this? I don't really know anything about that part.
Thanks.

Easy to replace, located near the entrance of the knock sensor, small piece with green connector.Originally Posted by sblax2000

To take this sucker off it's just one 10mm (IIRC) nut underneath. A small wrench will do that. here a some diagrams to help out:

Oh wow, I'm retarded, I had unplugged that while planning how I'm going to replace my knock sensor, I currently don't have the proper tools, all I know is it requires 12mm, does anyone know what tools would help? My hands are definitely not gonna fit in there.
This morning, however, the car wouldn't start. The engine was turning over cuz I could here it whirring, but no clicking sound and the stereo was working, so I'm wondering if it's the starter, could this be at all related to leaving that EGRC solenoid valve unplugged?
