My Warpspeed y-pipe has a busted flex section. I was going to buy a new one or get one of their new Superlo pipes but this exhaust shop said they can put in a new flex section for me for 70 dollars. Should I just get the new one or have a new flex section put in? Also with my flex section being busted would it cause a problem like hesitation under acceleration being that the O2 sensor in the cat converter is not getting the full exhaust there for causing the car to run a little rich ? I'm hoping I'm somewhat right on this

 

The O2 sensor after the catalytic converter does not affect driveability.

 

So could it be the flex pipe leak could be so bad that it causes the car to hesitate under heavy accelertaion? Normal driving it runs fine but spirited driving it hesitates like there's a bad O2 sensor. I'll be changing the O2 sensors next week just to be sure.

warpspeed flex sections are ****, one broke and i sent it back , they didnt wat to fix it cause they said it was wrapped but the thing was rusty as hell??

I finaly got them to fix it and i had to pay the shipping, and 3 months later it broke anyway and i found a midas that fixed it for me for 50$

Just pay the $70 , i will save you time cause you wont have to take it off, ship it or wait.

and yes it will cause hesitation.
