It appears the business that sold me my car disconnected the CEL light. I went to pull codes from the ecu, and no CEL light came on. I then learned that in Maximas the CEL light is supposed to come on when the car is turned "ON" (i know, boneheaded thinking).

Im thinking of reporting them to the BBB, or simply reconnecting the CEL light to pull codes and fix.

If i go the CEL route, what's the procedure on reconnecting it?

 

Perhaps the bulb is blown.

 

Possibly, but i think its weird that it would be the CEL light thats blown, and not something else. I dont know at this point, im tired of dealing with this car.
