VLSD tranny in the mail

well, the VLSD tranny is on it's way. 800 shipped for 62k, tested.
that'll go in with my stillen flywheel, spec stage 2 clutch + lightweight option, and SS clutch line.

next up: brakes and wheels, BBK+Rotors+lightweight 18's to fit
full coilovers TBD.

There is nothing newer on car-part.com

Where people are getting low milage AE VLSD Trannies left and right I can't figure out for the life of me.

Kenji - you stole my tranny!

<j/k> - mine is on the way, but has 70k and cost more than yours.

Isn't it the non lsd trannies that suffer from the bearing problem?

Nope vlsd has it too... us infiniti guys have to deal with that bullsh!t also. Just last spring I helped a friend with a 96 i30t 5sp vlsd pull his tranny so the differential side bearings could get replaced.

Consider buying a busted VLSD and rebuilding it. That's how I got mine originally.
