Quick MAF question
Quick MAF question
My automatic 97 max has been stalling out sometimes after hard accelleration. I'll watch the RPM needle bounce around and then drop all the way down to 50 and then stall.
Is this a MAF problem or could it be the round evap control module that often breaks due to rubbing against an aftermarket strut tower bar?
How much do replacement MAFs run nowadays?
Thanks in advance.

A new MAF is $350 or so from a discount parts dealer, JR Nissan, Pinnacle, etc. If you need one, check in the 4th Gen Classifieds - you can pick up a working used one for under 100 bucks.
