Got my exhaust done at meinekee but...
I'm happy with it, but the mech didn't put the piping up high enough in the rear to avoid the suspension traveling up, so now when I hit a bump, I get this clunking sound from out back. There's even a rub on the pipe you can see. I guess what I'm asking is, do you think they will/ should fix it for me? FOR FREE? I haven't gone in there yet as I want to be positive that it is it. But I think they will try to back talk and say that 2.5" is too big for the car yadayadayada, even though there's MANY 2.5" cat backs without this issue. The reason I'm upset is I plan to lower the car as soon as the $$ is in and if this problem is still here, that will not go over so well.

They should fix it for free, dont let a lot of time pass, go back up and tell them that the pipe hangs too low and bumps and has rubbing issues, make it clear thats a problem and that its been like that since you got the ask, tell them you need that fixed.

Definitely take it back. I just had an exhaust done at a local shop with NO issues whatsoever. I have a flowmaster on my car, and you can BARELY see the muffler from the back, unlike the stock muffler. There's plenty of space under there. Your shop did not fit it right. Don't go in acting all crazy, but let them know they need to take of it properly. Talk to the manager DIRECTLY.

This picture doesn't really show it well, but do you think I should have them set it towards the front of the car more and raise it up a tad to fit in the outlet better, and more centered? Would they charge for those alterations if they are fixing the other part?

Def have them fix it for free. If you need to back yourself up on the 2.5in issue go to my cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/2 and print out the pictures of my Max with my new custom Borla catback. No issues whatsoever with it. I don't think the guy could have bent the pipe any better. I'm happy

I had my greddy sp2 put in today. I called around to different shops and got bogus prices (Midas-130, Meineke-90, Monroe Mufflers-100). I found a local muffler shop that did it for 60 but took his time with it. He installed everything correctly, shifted the pipes to make sure there were no weird noises, started the car, brought the car back up to check for leaks, and welcomed me back if there were any weird noises.
Take it back and get it fixed for free. Their services are usually guaranteed. Dont take their backtalk.

Hey thanks for all the support, except for that last one! J/k. Honostly, it does look horrible there, that's why I want to get it moved so it's tucked right up in the bumper. It looks MUCH worse than it sounds, it matches my intake on WOT but it's pretty deep for a little coffee can yosuckamo.
