I’m having a weird vibration which I suspect comes from the transmission. It is kind of the same as the vibration you get if your RPMs are too low in a high gear. For example at 1,800RPM in 3rd the car struggles a bit to spin up if you press the gas and vibrates. Then it gets up to 2,100 and smoothes out and starts accelerating … that’s normal behavior. But then at around 2,300 it vibrates again, yet no power loss if felt, it keeps accelerating smoothly. I suspect it’s the transmission vibrating because it in addition makes the famous whining noise, but that seems to be a separate problem.

Does anybody know what could be causing this vibration? I am going to rebuild my tranny and I wonna make sure to fix this problem while I am at It also.

it could be a front axle problem.....

you think id whould have to be a replasement job , or just needs some adjustment?

replacement. Axle could be bent or one of the joints could have went bad. just my guess...
