Front end conversion

I recently smashed up my 95 max and since i need to buy a hood, grill and bumper. I was wondering about converting the front end to a 98 max. Now can i use the stock 95 headlamps and replace the bumper and grille to a 98+ (97?) and i assume the hood is universal (95-99). anyone know the best place to buy these parts and the cheapest.

Read the stickys ... And use the 97+ headlights, they look better IMO.

yes, you can...the bumper and grill are interchangeable between 95-96 and 97-99, but i agree with nmexmax, use the 97+ lights..

a 97+ grill on a 95 bumper will have fitment issues incase you were thinking of mixing parts.

I agree the 97+ headlight look far better, as shown in this example.

yes I realize the text is on the wrong side

Wow I never realized how different the headlights really are...I have a 96 and I do agree completely...the 97+ headlights are way nicer. I have a question...could I fit 97+ headlights on my 96 grill/bumper or is there major modifications necessary?

i just ordered my 97 bumper and 97 grille. Now is it a direct replacement if i keep the 95 headllamps. Basically will the grille mount to the 95 head light brackets or is there any modification that needs to be done?

Thanks man, the axis mod sevens (20") on my 6th gen completely change the look of the car. They look good and ride good and the deep dish look just changes the appearance of the car. I get compliments on my car and alot of young thugs think its a lexus.

The headlights for 95-99 are exactly the same size. 95-96 are glass and foggy, while the 97-99 are clear and plastic, but no difference in size

I can see the road much better with the 97 headlights than my previous 95 headlights. About to convert to 9007 bulbs and the lights will get a little bit brighter after I get a grounding kit

I had it done a few months ago. I'll never go back. The 97 front end is sexy as all hell. I got my parts off ebay.
