Clutch Install

Hey guys, I wanted to donate today to use the search function but realized that I have no money on the card . I am replacing my clutch today with a friend and needed some info on how to do it from the techies on here. I dont need detailed instruction just a gist of whats going on in order. Someone told me I have to take down my whole suspension to change clutch? I dont think thats true . Someone help a brotha out.

Hey, I did my clutch outside my house on some jack stands. Its fairly easy to do but it just takes some time. You do not have to remove your suspension, only thing you have to do is unbolt at the knuckle so you can get your axles out. If you need any help, I can come by, I live right up the street from Feretti.

I just did mine last nite. You dont have to take off the whole suspension. Just unbolt the 2 17mm bolts holding the strut to the spindle(hub).

Drain your tranny BEFORE taking the axles out.
Take out the slave cylinder, starter BEFORE attemping to drop the tranny.
There are various 14mm and 17mm bolts you'll have to loosen up and take out. There's one in the very back almost above the shifter rods thats a PITA to get to.

It took me and a friend under 3hrs to change out a clutch. So...do your best and dont take shortcuts.
