Nice run Nismo

15.0 in a 3.5 Auto hell nah well not me I know for sure my hybrid aint runin that, with the cars I've killed on the streets they run 13's BTW my HYBRID is fully built....

I got to say this I've driven my buddies 03 max man are they really smoooth on the power band from 0 to 100mph is nice but suttle. Now then I jump in my car and WOW what a big difference , comparing the two mine feels like a V8 at oh wait my car weighs 2700'bs nah but serious you can't even compare the two . I'll post the updated mod list later next month.

Nismo can you describe the way you feel the power on tap, can you give me some details on your feelings of the motor in a 4thgen chassis compared with the 02' or 03' max and is your exhaust opened all the way up no cat etc.??

My question is how does the motor feel as far as it's power delivery in your 4thgen.?

With the Hybrid it feels more aggressive I think the compression 11.5:1 has something to do with it ofcourse..

Well 1st gear winds out so quickly.. all of the gears wind out alot faster than my 3.0 ever did.. It takes no effort at all to get up to speed. I have to shift at about 1900 due to the amount of low end torque..

I have driven a 6th gen, and I can tell you that my car could/would pull on a 6th gen quite easily.

An auto 4th gen with the 3.5 would do mid 14s easily.

Like Nismo said... 14.0's for 1200$, and I'm sure he'll hit 13's easily. Get slicks and run mid to low 13's.

Well I just got back from the track and my times are truly sh*tty. Check my thread in the 1/4 mile forum for more. Looks like you kicked my @ss on this one, Nismo.

At least I beat you on the trap speed, 102 mph.

how did you manage that kind of price tag??????????????????????

EDIT: free labor. oh ok. nice!
Hey would I have to replace my JWT ECU if I did it? And replace my barely-able to handle the 3.0 torque- clutch?

The engine itself was $775, extra parts, I cant remember the whole list, it adds up to about $1200. You can definantly use your JWT ECU... I am still using a 3.0 auto ecu, and i'm 3.5 5spd And yes, I would definantly recommend a clutch that can hold more power. I am going with a Clutchnet 6 puck in the near future.

I used the 3.5 heads. Tilleys is using the 00VI on his 3.5.

I only ran 3 times, the first time I ran a 30 sec 1/4, due to my TPS knocking off....

2nd run was against a turbo eclipse, with full bolt on's, 16psi, I beat him even tho I ran 14.5.

Last race was with my friend's Lexus. Beat him by 2 seconds.

I ran a faster time and trapped higher than everyone of the LT1 Z-28's, and about 10 5.0's. I was about .4 sec off from an SS Camaro

On the street: Honda Accord, Impala, Mustang GT, 350Z... not to many races goin on on the street..
