Just curious if anyone has seen these black alteeza's on a max. Anyone have a pic...not a fan of alteeza's at all....but these seem like they might work on a
black max.

not a big altezza fan either, but if i had to, i'd probably be okay with those.

not a big fan of alteza's but by far, i think those are the best looking ones, but dont get it, just go with the clears. Makes the car look more rich instead of a toy.

 

I like the altezza's myself, but I'd just go with normal ones and do the skyline tail mod like I did, looks pretty sweet IMO.

What I'm thinking though, I wonder if I could get away with painting the entire inner tail body color? It looks pretty sweet in my mind, and if I get around to it, I might photoshop it.

 

so in the 96's, the orange part of the OEM tails is all one part, right? it can't seperated easily like the 97-99? so it has to be cooked, then painted, right?

IMO altezza's are horrible they give it that rice burner feeling!

blah, i dont think any of the aftermarket tail lights look good besides the stock(with amber) and red/clear especially on the black maximas.

 

not bad, wait till you see my 'tinted' altezzas....soon

 

And they still have trouble geting red/clears....

 

Everybody wants the red/clears....but we have to have something until we can get a hold of some.

 

wasnt there a thread JUST like this a week or so ago, asking the EXACT SAME question about the EXACT SAME taillight? ENOUGH altezza threads, we already know that altezzas are the red-headed step child, no one on org likes them, except me an chickan, so plz refrain from the altezza threads.

I put altezzas on mine they look similar but they have a dark matlic border i matched them up with an exuast tip clear corner covers and window tint looks pretty sweet. if you want a pic e-mail me at colin_t_but@hotmail.com i'll see what i can do.

I agree with a previous post. Us 95-96ers have to have SUMTHING to get us going with the tail lights, so really our only option is altezzas, I had a set...and then the whole website started making fun of them soooo now im back to stock, but my GF is pissed and wants them back on ASAP. Sooooo looks like they will be going back on.

 

Is she pissed about what tail lights you have on your car? Is she demanding the altezzas go back on? Wow.....you sir, are whipped.

 

I picked up the carbon fiber set because I think that black will fade. Tails do not make a car rice, wings do. If they want weight in the rear just put the battery back there. The red clears or red paint is making the car look dated. Rice is only about looks and is completely non-functional.

If you liked them rather than the stock then put them back on, ive been waiting for the clearz for us as well but the amber just stuck out too much so I settled. Dont bow to pressure from the stockies, what one likes another dislikes, make it your own.

 

I Like Those Too. Might Try And Get Them. Would Look Kool On A Black Car.

 

I also agree about them looking good on a black car. Post some pics when you put them on.

 

Clear Lights is the way to go

 

I like em... but only on a black or dark charcoal colored car.

 

Same here I am sick and tired of those old euros that are red and silver. They do make them look outdated. Also the wings are dumb.
