i am trying to verify if this truely was an optional factory kit for the SE models ... the previous owner of the car told me he had it as an option.


then again, i have yet to see any maxima with this kind of wood dash kit.

can anyone confirm??

it says BOSK and a small tree emblem on the shifter piece ... all in gold.





I am looking for a replacement peice that goes around the DIN... maybe more pieces, but i'm not sure if this factory.

here's what i was talkin about in regards to the emblem ...

 

is it real wood? it looks like it? The wodd dash trim i had in my 130T looded nothing like that.

 

That is not a factory piece for any trim level. The GLE wood comes from plastic trees.

 

mine i'm pretty sure is factory, on an se, but it doesnt look like that

 

mine had wood grain too on my 99 se, but i had it removed, i dont remember the emblem, but it was a long time ago

 

Mine had the nissan emblem near the lighter, is was a 250~ option. I had to install a new set because the sun damaged the original.

 

yeah this is fake wood too + the top vinyl part is starting to peel from the sun.

oh well, time to switch to brushed aluminum heheh

 

I got the wood grain in my SE. Doesnt look like that though. Its more of a plastic.

 

I believe I have the exact same one when I bought the car. Now it looks like crap from it peeling and being damaged from the sun. Any write-ups on how to remove it ?
